Engaging Content Companies can Share

Sometimes, companies seem to run out of social media content for their followers.
Between talking about what the business is about and what kind of solutions it provides, as well as promoting new products or services, it’s easy for companies to run out of things to talk about with their followers.
Fortunately, there are plenty of other topics that companies can talk about on social media.
Engagement Posts
One way that companies can generate more engagement by interacting with their followers is through sharing posts that are meant to be engaging.
That can mean asking followers interesting questions, and then interacting with those who responded, in order to generate more engagement.
For example, companies that sell products can ask their followers about the best thing they’ve purchased from them recently, or their opinions on a specific product.
On the other hand, companies that provide services can ask their followers about the opinions they have on their services, or about the aspects of the service they most enjoyed.
Industry news
Every industry has its own news cycle, which means there are always articles being published that aim to share industry updates.
Companies that are struggling to think of new content can simply provide their followers with a third party photo or article that aligns with their own mission and values.
This way, companies can provide their audiences with more information on what is important to them, and can show them what the business stands for at the same time.
Companies can also share news stories and articles whenever they are mentioned in those articles.
Holidays
One way to generate more audience engagement through content on social media is by talking about holidays that are specific to social media platforms.
There are hundreds of different holidays throughout the year that are dedicated to social media, and companies can figure out which holidays they want to celebrate on social media with their followers by doing a quick Google search.
As long as the holiday is relevant to the business, the target audience, or society at large, companies can talk about that social media holiday with their followers.
Employee Spotlights
One way that companies can introduce their staff members to consumers, and highlight the people that work for the business, is by sharing employee spotlight posts.
That means sharing a photo or a video of each one of the employees at the business, and giving consumers a bit of information regarding the employees’ interests, the reason why they started working with the company, and more details about their lives.
This shows consumers that the company isn’t just filled with nameless people, and instead that all the employees are normal people just like the consumers. This humanizes the business in the eyes of the target audience.
